Please read these Terms of Service carefully before booking or participating in any Telltale Tours experience. By booking a tour or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About Telltale Tours
Telltale Tours is a New York City tour operator offering guided drinking tours and storytelling experiences in Manhattan. Our tours are operated by licensed New York City tour guides. Contact us at Telltaletours44@gmail.com or 415-846-2220.
2. Age Requirement
All Telltale Tours drinking experiences are strictly for guests 21 years of age or older. Valid government-issued photo identification (driver's license, passport, or state ID) is required at check-in. Guests who cannot provide valid ID will not be permitted to join the tour and will not be entitled to a refund. Family tours and non-drinking experiences may be available for all ages - see our Family Tours page for details.
3. Bookings and Payments
All bookings are processed through PeekPro, our authorized booking platform. By completing a booking, you agree to PeekPro's terms of service and payment policies in addition to these terms. Payment is due at the time of booking. Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice.
Telltale Tours reserves the right to refuse service to any guest at its sole discretion.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Group tours - 96+ hours (3+ days) before tour start: Full refund issued to the original payment method.
- Group tours - within 72 hours of tour start: Partial refund. Contact us to discuss options.
- Private tours - 7+ days before tour start: Full refund. Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable.
- Late arrivals & no-shows: Non-refundable. No exceptions.
- Operator cancellation: If Telltale Tours cancels a tour due to circumstances within our control, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
- Weather: Tours operate rain or shine. In the event of severe weather that makes the tour unsafe, we will contact you to reschedule or issue a full refund.

5. Guest Conduct and Responsible Drinking
Telltale Tours is committed to responsible alcohol service. Our tours visit licensed establishments that comply with New York State alcohol laws. By booking a drinking tour, you acknowledge that:
- Alcohol consumption is at your own discretion and risk.
- You will not hold Telltale Tours liable for any consequences arising from alcohol consumption.
- You agree to behave responsibly and respectfully toward guides, other guests, and venue staff.
- Telltale Tours and its guides reserve the right to remove any guest from a tour for disruptive, intoxicated, or unsafe behavior without refund.
- Drinks are not included in the base ticket price unless explicitly stated. Budget approximately $9–$28 per drink per venue.
6. Dress Code
Smart casual is the standard across all Telltale Tours. Jeans are welcome on every tour, and shorts are perfectly fine especially in the summer months. No sportswear, flip-flops, or Uggs. Telltale Tours is not responsible for guests being denied entry to venues due to dress code violations, and no refund will be issued in such cases.
7. Physical Activity and Health
All tours involve walking, typically 1–2 miles over the course of the experience. Guests should be in reasonable physical condition to participate. If you have specific health concerns or mobility limitations, please contact us before booking. Telltale Tours is not responsible for any injury or health incident during a tour.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, tour descriptions, and storytelling content, is the property of Telltale Tours and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Telltale Tours shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or website. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from a booking shall not exceed the amount you paid for that booking.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
