The Speakeasy Adventure is a 3-hour premium night out experience in Midtown Manhattan. We take guests inside the hidden bars, underground jazz clubs, and secret drinking rooms that defined New York during Prohibition - venues that survived because the city refused to stop. The stage is New York, the venues are the scene change, and Midtown is the backdrop.
Expect real accounts - the jazz clubs that operated in plain sight, the underground bars that served the city's most powerful people, and the stories of the New Yorkers who kept the culture alive while the law looked the other way.
Groups are kept intimate so every stop feels exclusive, not crowded. Food is available for purchase at every stop. Smart casual attire is the standard - jeans welcome, shorts fine in summer, no sportswear or flip-flops.

The Speakeasy Adventure is a 3-hour premium night out experience in Midtown Manhattan operated by Telltale Tours. The tour visits hidden speakeasy-style bars in Hell's Kitchen and the Theatre District, with a professional NYC storyteller sharing the stories of Prohibition-era New York - the underground bars, the jazz clubs, and the characters who kept the city drinking when the law said otherwise. Tours run every day of the week. Tickets start at $36 per person.
The Speakeasy Adventure departs from Worldwide Plaza, 825 8th Ave, New York, NY 10019 (between 49th and 50th Streets). Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled start time. The nearest subway stop is 50th St on the C/E line.
Smart casual is the standard for all Telltale Tours. Jeans are welcome across all tours, and shorts are perfectly fine especially in the summer months. Drinks and food are available for purchase at each stop and are not included in the base ticket price of $36 per person. Budget approximately $9–$28 per drink depending on the cocktail and venue. Food is available at all stops.
